AgroGeneration, a producer of grain and oilseeds in Ukraine, has secured financing for its 2016/17 crop season and successfully renewed a pre-payment agreement with Quadra Commodities for part of its harvest.
AgroGeneration's 2016/17 growing season is off to a favourable start. The Group successfully completed its winter crop sowing campaign in November 2016 and at the same time renewed its season's financing with Alfa-Bank Ukraine, at lower interest rates compared with the previous year. Out of a maximum amount of \$35 million, AgroGeneration already received \$21.7 million as of 31 December 2016.
Besides, the Group pursued its strategy of optimization and diversification of its financing and once again signed a trade financing pre-payment contract worth \$10 million with Quadra Commodities for part of its 2017 harvest, improving visibility on its revenues. A first pre-payment of \$2 million was made to AgroGeneration on 31 January 2017.
