ASX Release 29 June 2016

Agrimin Limited | ABN 15 122 162 396 ASX Code: AMN Level 9, 190 St Georges Terrace Perth, Western Australia 6000 T: +61 8 6141 6304 E: [email protected] | W: www.agrimin.com.au

PROCESS WATER EVALUATION AND TENEMENT APPLICATIONS

Highlights

  • Process water evaluation identifies an area with potential to host significant volumes of groundwater in close proximity to the proposed plant site

  • New tenement applications cover the proposed plant site and area prospective for process water resources

  • Groundwater exploration activities are planned for Q3-2016

Agrimin Limited ( ASX: AMN ) (“ Agrimin ” or “ the Company ”) is pleased to advise the completion of an evaluation for process water resources and the application for additional tenements at its 100% owned Mackay Sulphate of Potash (“ SOP ”) Project.

The recent completion of the Process Design and other key components of the Scoping Study has established the water requirements for the process plant and other uses. An independent hydrogeological study commissioned by Agrimin has successfully identified a large target area within 15km of the proposed plant site with potential to host significant groundwater resources suitable to meet process water needs for the Mackay Project.

The study involved a review of historical data from more than 100 drill holes and airborne geophysical surveys which were completed to the south of Lake Mackay between 2009 and 2013. The Company is further encouraged by the presence of existing groundwater bores located within the target area that currently provide freshwater supply.

Agrimin has lodged an application for a Miscellaneous Licence (L80/87) covering the area considered prospective for groundwater resources ( Figure 1 ). Agrimin intends to conduct initial investigations during the upcoming field program planned for Q3-2016, with subsequent bore installation and pump testing to be completed upon the licence being granted.

Agrimin also applied for an additional Exploration Licence (E80/4995) covering an area of lakebed sediments, plus the area identified as a suitable location for the process plant and the associated site infrastructure ( Figure 1 ). The Company has successfully concluded negotiations with the Tjamu Tjamu (Aboriginal Corporation) RNTBC to include this licence under its existing Land Access Agreement.
