For the first nine months of 2011|12, AGRANA reports an increase in consolidated revenues compared to the prior year from approx. EUR 1,624 million to approx. EUR 1,952 million. The operating profit before exceptional items rose compared to the prior year from EUR 104.8 million to EUR 198.7 million. This growth was generated by the Sugar and Starch segments.
Due to this positive development in the first three quarters, AGRANA forecasts revenues of approx. EUR 2.5 billion for the full year 2011|12 and reaffirms its expectations of a significant improvement in earnings.
As scheduled, the Group will be publishing further details of the development of business and additional information on the various segments on 12 January 2012.
