AGRANAA Successful 3rd Quarter 2001/02 Ad-hoc-announcement transmitted by DGAP. The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– Substantial growth in Q1 _ Q3 revenues and profit: -Revenues increase by 10% from EUR 579.3 million to EUR 639.9 million -EBIT increases by 33% from EUR 42.6 million to EUR 67.7 million Changes in the periodical assignments of campaign costs in the accounts led to a disproportionately rapid increase of 33% in reported EBIT during the first three quarters. However, the effects of those changes will be cancelled out again during the fourth quarter (actual increase after correction to allow for distortions: roughly 9%). Thanks to an improvement in our financial result, we can also report increases in pre-tax profit and consolidated net profit for the first three quarters.
