Prudential plc increases stake in AGRANA Beteiligungs-AG to 10.09%

AGRANA Beteiligungs-AG announces according to § 93 Section 2 Börsegesetz that it has been informed by Prudential plc, London, on 14 July 2008 of an increase of its stake and voting rights in AGRANA Beteiligungs-AG.

Prudential plc and certain of its subsidiary companies have passed the threshold of 10% of voting rights in AGRANA Beteiligungs-AG on 10 July 2008. The acquired shares represent 10.09% of the voting rights (resp. 1,433,908 shares).
