Vienna - At its meeting on 10 May 2019, the Supervisory Board of AGRANA Beteiligungs-AG has resolved to appoint Norbert Harringer as a new member of the Management Board with effect from 1 September 2019. The current Management Board, comprising CEO Johann Marihart, Stephan Büttner, Fritz Gattermayer and Thomas Kölbl, will be extended to include this 45-year-old technical chemist from Upper Austria.
Harringer has been employed at the AGRANA Group since 2005 and will, until further notice, retain his current function as Managing Director of AGRANA Stärke GmbH after his move to the Management Board. As a member of the Management Board of AGRANA Beteiligungs-AG, he will take certain responsibilities currently held by Johann Marihart and will specifically be responsible for the areas of production coordination and investments. The temporary addition of a fifth member to the Management Board is intended to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities and continuity in terms of the Group's management.
At today's meeting, the Supervisory Board of AGRANA Beteiligungs-AG also extended the term in office of Management Board member Stephan Büttner by a further five years until 31 October 2024.
