ÅF wins consulting contract in Estonia

ÅF has signed an Owner's Engineer contract with Eesti Energia AS for a new waste-toenergy combined heat and power unit to be constructed at a site of the Iru Power Plant in Estonia.

The assignment includes Owner's Engineer and Construction Supervision services for the plant.

The value of the contract for ÅF is over 1million euro.

The work will be carried out by ÅF's units in Estonia, Finland and Sweden.

When ready in 2013 the plant will be the first waste-to-energy plant in Estonia. It will utilize 220.000 tons of municipal waste per year with generating capacity of 50 MW district heat and 17 MW electricity.
