ÅF wins energy contract in Switzerland

ÅF's Swiss subsidiaryAF Colenco has been awarded a 27 MEUR contract for engineering services for a pump storage hydro power plant Nant de Drance in Switzerland.

ÅF's client is NdD SA, a joint venture of the largest Swiss utility ALPIQ, Swiss Federal Railway SBB and the Swiss regional power utility FMV.

The ÅF-contract includes general project management, detail engineering and site supervision services.

The 600 MW power plant is due be commissioned in 2015.
