ÅF wins major Pulp & Paper contract

ÅF has been chosen as main consultant and engineer for a rebuild of integrated pulp and paper mill – Portucel Viana KLB400 project.

ÅF, through its Swedish and Spanish units, has been awarded a main engineer and project management contract for a rebuild of integrated pulp and board mill – Portucel Viana KLB400 project.

The contract value for ÅF amounts about 3.5 million euros.

The assignment includes the basic and detailed engineering for the following main areas: Virgin fiber line, Recycle fiber line, Recovery Island and Paper Machine. The main target of the project is to increase mill's production capacity.
