Appointment of non-executive Director

Aseana Properties Limited (LSE: ASPL), a property developer in Malaysia and Vietnam listed on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange, announces the appointment of Helen Siu Ming Wong as a non-executive Director, with effect from 17 June 2019.

Ms. Wong brings to Aseana over 27 years of financial and operational experience in the United States and Asia. She is Chief Executive Officer and founder of LAPIS Global Limited, a Hong Kong based investment management and advisory firm. She was formerly the CEO of Cushman & Wakefield Capital Asia where she established the Asia Investment Management and Investment Banking platform.

In addition, Ms Wong has held numerous executive positions including Chief Operating Officer of Bravia Capital Hong Kong Limited, Managing Director of IFIL Asia (renamed EXOR S.p.A), where she was responsible for the Asian direct investment activities, and Chief Financial Officer of the listed investment vehicle Pacific Century Regional Developments Limited.

Ms. Wong also has extensive experience in infrastructure and transport through her prior roles at the Provisional Airport Authority, Hong Kong and the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey.

The Company confirms there are no further disclosures which are required to be made in accordance with LR 9.6.13R.
