AFARAK GROUP REPORTS A FATALITY AT ITS MOGALE PLANT

It is with deepest regret that we confirm a fatality at our Mogale Plant earlier this afternoon.

Nelson Maurison Msimango, a 58-year old from Kagiso, Krugersdorp and employed with Mogale Alloys since May 2005, succumbed from his injuries at the Millpark Hospital, arising from a serious incident at the P3 Furnace on Monday evening.

Afarak Group has shut-down operations at the Mogale Alloys plant to facilitate counselling sessions with fellow employees and a memorial service at the Plant

Afarak Group extends its deepest sympathy with the Msimango family.
