AEW UK REIT plc (the "Company")

Appointment of New Director

The Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Katrina Hart as a non-executive Director of the Company, with effect from 5 June 2017.

Ms Hart spent her executive career in investment banking, working for a range of banks in corporate finance and equity research roles, including ING Barings, HSBC and Canaccord Genuity. In 2011, Ms Hart was appointed as a non-executive director of Miton Group plc, an AIM-listed fund management group. Since 2013, Ms Hart has also been a non-executive director of Polar Capital Global Financials Trust plc. She has not been a director of any other publicly quoted companies in the last five years.

There are no other details required to be disclosed under LR 9.6.13R (2) to (6) of the Financial Conduct Authority's Listing Rules.

Ms Hart will also be joining the Audit Committee and Management Engagement & Remuneration Committees.
