In April 2015, Aéroports de Paris saw 7.9 million passengers; a decrease of 1.6% on April 2014. 5.4 million passengers travelled through Paris-Charles de Gaulle (-1.8%) and 2.5 million through Paris-Orly (-1.0%).
Traffic in April 2015 was doubly affected: firstly, by a calendar effect due to the Spring holiday dates for schools in the Paris area, which this year were from 18 April to 3 May, as opposed to 12 to 28 April in 2014; secondly, by industrial action by air traffic controllers on 8 and 9 April 2015.
Since the beginning of 2015, Aéroports de Paris passenger traffic has seen growth of 1.0%, with a total of 28.5 million passengers. The number of connecting passengers has risen by 1.4%. The connecting rate remains unchanged at 24.8%.
Passenger traffic at TAV Airports, 38%-owned by Aéroports de Paris, increased by 6.9% (1) in April 2015, and has risen by 6.8% (1) since the beginning of the year.
