March 2017 traffic figures
In March 2017, Paris Aéroport welcomed 7.8 million passengers, an increase of 3.8% compared with March 2016. 5.3 million passengers travelled through Paris-Charles de Gaulle (+3.2%) and 2.5 million through Paris-Orly (+4.9%).
- International traffic (excluding Europe) was up (+3.8%), due to growth in all the destinations: Asia-Pacific (+6.8%), the Middle East (+4.4%), Africa (+3.7%), Latin America (+2.9%), the French Overseas Territories (+2.4%) and North America (+2.2%);
- European traffic (excluding France) was up (+4.5%);
- Traffic within France was up (+1.8%);
- The number of connecting passengers decreased by 4.0%. The connecting rate stood at 23.4%, down by 2.6 points compared with March 2016.
Since the beginning of the year, Paris Aéroport passenger traffic has grown by 5.0%, with a total of 22.0 million passengers. The number of connecting passengers has decreased by 3.9%. The connecting rate was at 24.2%, down by 2.4 points.
Passenger traffic at TAV Airports, 38%-owned by Groupe ADP, increased by 1.9% in March 2017 and has decreased by 2.1%(1) since the beginning of the year.
Passenger traffic at Santiago, 45%-owned by Groupe ADP, rose by 9.8% in March 2017 and has risen by 9.7% since the beginning of the year.
