Aéroports de Paris June 2015 traffic figures

In June 2015, Aéroports de Paris saw 8.6 million passengers; a slight increase, of 0.5%, on June 2014. 6.0 million passengers travelled through Paris-Charles de Gaulle (+1.5%) and 2.6 million through Paris-Orly (-1.4%).

Ramadan this year lasts from 18 June to 17 July versus from 28 June to 27 July in 2014. This difference had, in particular, a negative impact on traffic to and from Africa, and to and from Paris-Orly.

• International traffic (excluding Europe) was up by 0.3%, with growth in the following destinations: North America (+5.5%); Asia-Pacific (+4.1%); Latin America (+1.8%); and the Middle East (+0.5%). Two destinations were down: Africa (-7.0%) and the French Overseas Territories (-4.5%);
• European traffic (excluding France) was up (+2.9%);
• Traffic within France decreased (-4.5%);
• The number of connecting passengers increased by 1.4%. The connecting rate stood at 22.2%, down by 0.1 points on June 2014.

Since the beginning of the year, Aéroports de Paris passenger traffic has seen growth of 1.5%, with a total of 45.5 million passengers. The number of connecting passengers has risen by 1.0%. The connecting rate stands at 23.8%, down by 0.1 points.

Passenger traffic at TAV Airports, 38%-owned by Aéroports de Paris, increased by 7.0%(1) in June 2015, and has risen by 7.7%(1) since the beginning of the year.
