Aéroports de Paris February 2013 traffic figures
In February 2013, Aéroports de Paris passenger traffic decreased by 1.8% compared to February 2012 with a total of 5.9 million passengers including 4.1 million at Paris-Charles de Gaulle (-1.6%) and 1.8 million at Paris-Orly (-2.1%). On a like-for-like basis (2012 was a leap year), traffic would increase by 1.7%.
- International traffic (excluding Europe) decreased by 2.7%. Except Asia-Pacific which recorded slight growth (+1.4%), all destinations were down: the Middle East (-2.2%), the French Overseas Territories (-2.5%), Africa (-2.9%), Latin America (-4.7%) and North America (-5.8%).
- European traffic (excluding France) was down by 2.1%.
- Traffic within France increased by 1.2%.
- The number of connecting passengers was up by 3.3%. The connecting rate stood at 26.5%, up by 1.7 point.
Since the beginning of 2013, Aéroports de Paris passenger traffic has decreased by 2.4% with a total of 12.1 million passengers. The number of connecting passengers was down by 1.4%. The connecting rate reached 27.1%, i.e. an increase of 0.6 point.
Traffic from TAV Airports, owned at 38% by Aéroports de Paris, increased by 32.2% in February 2013 and by 27.4% since the beginning of the year.
