Aéroports de Paris April 2013 traffic figures

In April 2013, Aéroports de Paris passenger traffic decreased by 1.4% compared to April 2012 with a total of 7.5 million passengers including 5.1 million at Paris-Charles de Gaulle (-3.1%) and 2.4 million at Paris-Orly (+2.3%).

As a reminder, in 2013, spring holidays for Paris area were from Saturday 27 April to Monday 13 May instead of Saturday 14 April to Monday 30 April in 2012.

  • International traffic (excluding Europe) decreased slightly by 0.2%. Asia-Pacific (+7.9%) and Latin America (+1.1%) grew. On the contrary, Africa (-1.0%), the Middle East (-2.3%), the French Overseas Territories (-2.4%) and North America (-3.1%) were down.
  • European traffic (excluding France) decreased by 3.7%.
  • Traffic within France was up by 1.4%.
  • The number of connecting passengers rose by 6.5%. The connecting rate stood at 22.9%, up by 1.5 point.

Since the beginning of 2013, Aéroports de Paris passenger traffic decreased by 0.9% with a total of 27.0 million passengers. The number of connecting passengers remained stable. The connecting rate reached 25.2%, i.e. an increase of 0.2 point.

Traffic of TAV Airports, owned at 38% by Aéroports de Paris, increased by 20.9% in April 2013 and by 25.3% since the beginning of the year.
