Aéroports de Paris October 2012 traffic figures

In October 2012, Aéroports de Paris passenger traffic decreased by 1.7% compared to October 2011, with a total of 7.4 million passengers handled including 5.2 million at Paris-Charles de Gaulle (-2.1%) and 2.2 million at Paris-Orly (-0.7%).

  • International traffic (excluding Europe) was down by 3.5%. French Overseas Territories and North America decreased sharply by respectively 9.1% and 7.9%. The Middle East (-2.7%), Latin America (-1.1%), Asia-Pacific (-0.9%) and Africa (-0.4%) regions recorded a more moderate decrease.
  • European traffic (excluding France) was almost stable (+0.1%).
  • Traffic within France decreased by 2.3%.
  • The number of connecting passengers was down by 2.1%. The connecting rate stood at 23.8%, down by 0.3 point.

Since the beginning of the year 2012, Aéroports de Paris passenger traffic increased by 1.0% with a total of 75.5 million passengers handled. The number of connecting passengers was up 2.8%, resulting in a connecting rate of 23.8%, i.e. an increase of 0.4 point. Traffic from TAV Airports, owned at 38% by Aéroports de Paris, increased by 35.7% over the same period.
