Bologna, 13 August 2024 – Aeroporto Guglielmo Marconi di Bologna S.p.A. informs that it has received approval today from ENAC, the National Civil Aviation Authority, of its reasoned update proposal (pursuant to art. 6, paragraph 3, of the Regulatory Agreement stipulated in October 2023) of the annexes to Regulatory Agreement for the four-year period 2023-2026, given the most updated traffic forecasts, however substantially in line with the previous ones, also in consideration of the new "slot coordinated" status of the airport starting from the 2024-25 Winter Season and considering the updating of the Investment Plan according to new priorities and executive phases and with some new investments which bring the value of investments over the four-year period to around 200 million euros, value previously defined as approximately 140 million.
The proposal for which approval has been given today is believed to best respond to the needs of the airport and its users. The investment plan as remodeled and authorized with a horizon of 2026, accompanied by an economic and financial plan, presents full sustainability and will be entirely financed by AdB, using both own resources and third party instruments, such as bank loans and European Investment Bank (or "EIB") funds.
