The Transport Regulation Authority approved on November 3, 2022 the launch of the procedure to verify compliance with the Models for airport charges regulation, approved with motion No. 92/2017 of July 6, 2017, for G. Marconi Airport of Bologna, on the basis of the charges revision proposal for the 2023-2026 period presented by AdB S.p.A., which stipulates the launch of the consultation procedure between the airport management company and airport Users on November 4, 2022.
As part of the User consultation procedure, in addition to the airport charges revision proposal and the service levels of the airport for the 2023-2026 period, the update to the Reduced Mobility Passengers fee will be presented (set out by Regulation EU 1107/2006 and by ENAC Guidelines 2018/001 of 9.8.2018).
The Public Users' hearing shall be held on December 5, 2022.
Communication of the launch of the procedure, together with the framework regulation and the documentation available to Users, shall be published on November 4, 2022 in a specific section of AdB S.p.A. website.

Aeroporto Guglielmo Marconi di Bologna, classified as a "strategic airport" in the centre-north area of the National Airports Plan prepared by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, recorded in 2021 - a year affected by the global pandemic – 4.1 million passengers, ranking as the eighth biggest Italian airport by number of passengers (Source: Assaeroporti).
