TRADING HALT

The securities of Ansearch Limited (the “Company”) will be placed in pre-open at the request of the Company, pending the release of an announcement by the Company. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in pre-open until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Tuesday, 29 July 2008 or when the announcement is released to the market.

REQUEST FOR TRADING HALT

Dear Julia/Dean

The board of Ansearch Limited (ASX: ANH) last night resolved to go ahead with a placement of shares in the company, in the amount of approximately 13% of the issued capital. This process will commence this morning.

I would like to request a trading halt on Ansearch Limited (ASX: ANH) shares for a 48 hour period pending a further announcement.

The company intends to make a further announcement as to the outcome of this action either on Monday afternoon or else prior to trading commencing on Tuesday morning which should result in a request for the trading halt to be lifted.

The company is not aware of any reason that the trading halt should not be granted.
