NEWS RELEASE
Webfirm appoints general manager for WA
30 March 2009
Webfirm – a division of Ansearch Limited (ASX: ANH) – today announced the appointment of Mathew Chamley as general manager, Western Australia.
Mr Chamley joins Webfirm from Be.Interactive (formerly Legion Interactive) where since 2005 he has held senior technology and information services roles including, most recently, chief information officer.
He takes up his new role with Ansearch’s web development and optimisation division immediately.
Mr Chamley’s experience includes three years at Vodafone Australia in various technology integration, project services and technical architect roles.
He began his career in the Australian Army, and over a decade of service rose to the rank of Captain. He is a graduate of the Royal Military College, Duntroon.
Webfirm executive officer Andrew Beecher said: “We are delighted to secure a leader of Matt’s calibre for Webfirm.
“Matt brings a strong mix of IT, commercial and management experience plus exceptional leadership skills to the business.
“He is the ideal executive to build on Webfirm’s successful nine year history in Western Australia and support the division’s continued national expansion.”
Mr Chamley said: “Webfirm has a young and dynamic team and is poised for further growth – particularly in the current economic climate, where marketing budgets are under pressure and SMEs need to deliver verifiable results from their marketing spend.
“I’m excited to help develop online solutions for clients that enable them to reach their target customers at a fraction of traditional marketing costs.”
David Burden, Ansearch CEO, welcomed Mr Chamley and also acknowledged Mr Beecher’s efforts. As Webfirm’s executive officer, Mr Beecher has overseen Webfirm’s national operations from Perth since March 2008.
Mr Burden commented: “Webfirm’s half year results saw a 53 per cent increase in revenue over the same period in the previous year, highlighting the division’s strength and potential.
“Andrew has executed an enormous amount of positive change within the division and the business is now poised for solid national growth on the back of the expected increase in

business confidence in 2009.”
In July 2008 Webfirm opened Australia’s first web business storefront in Melbourne’s St Kilda Road, with additional retail outlets planned.
Mr Beecher returns to Melbourne to progress Webfirm’s national expansion, while retaining ongoing responsibility for the division.
