About Ansearch
The Ansearch group of companies generates revenue mainly by selling advertising space on a growing network of search engines, portals and popular websites. The Company originally provided this suite of products and services through its own search and directory websites, and has since extended its network and audience reach to include the distribution of advertising to third-party Australian, US and UK based search engines, websites and third party advertising networks.
With the recent acquisition of Webfirm (http://www.webfirm.com.au) and Searchworld (http://www.searchworld.com.au) the company can now provide the most 'complete' range of online media solutions to SMEs

Open letter to all Ansearch Shareholders from your Chairman, Glenn Ridge
I am writing to you as the Chairman of Ansearch Limited. I am very proud of the effort put in by, and the results that all at Ansearch have achieved in recent times. In particular I’d like to commend the senior management team (under the CEO Robert Edge) who have worked diligently to ensure that our company is on solid financial ground with a very bright future in the Australian on-line media industry. I feel the recent quarterly results are an indication of their dedication to Ansearch.
The success of Ansearch, now and into the future, is not due to just one or two people. It is the result of a team of enthusiastic professional people working closely with the board to ensure that mutual goals are reached. I support very strongly the direction that the Ansearch management team is currently taking this company.
With this in mind, I’d like you to consider very carefully your vote in the upcoming General Meeting, because this is not necessarily just a vote for Terry Grigg and me. If you feel that stability on the board, resulting in a consistent focus being given to the Ansearch management team, is important (reflected in recent financial performances), I urge you to vote against all three of the resolutions put in front of you .
Recent financial figures indicate that Ansearch will operate on a month on month profit. Should the board change, there are no guarantees; in fact I believe it is unlikely, that the current senior management team will stay intact. A major board change at this time creates uncertainty and could bring about many unknowns that will have both short and long-term effects on the Ansearch business.
Both Terry Grigg and I have been directors of this company from before it became Ansearch and over this period of time (some of which have been extremely challenging), have always worked diligently for the company. Both of us have always been, and remain, very committed to grow Ansearch for all shareholders alike, no matter how big or small their holding.
Of recent times Ansearch has initiated a re-branding program that has given clients and investors a clear picture of the direction the company is heading - that is to be Australia’s number one on-line media company with considerable potential for international expansion. Behind the scenes it has instigated financial procedures to enable regular and accurate company assessments and restructured departments with personnel who will ensure that Ansearch has a solid financial and managerial base from which to grow in the very short term.
Although unsure of the company’s future and direction in its early days, I now have a strong belief that Ansearch has a very exciting future, and if

shareholders see fit for me to stay on the board, I’ll continue to work hard to ensure that Ansearch is both credible and financially strong. I will encourage international expansion both through natural growth of opportunities already in train and by acquisition. I will expand the board to include highly qualified professional on-line industry people who share similar goals to the current Ansearch direction and will be driven by the ongoing success of Ansearch. Such people are interested in being a part of Ansearch moving forward under the current management and board structure.
Having personally been involved in the Australian media industry since 1979, and formed Q Media Productions (a multi purpose media production and marketing company now known as Q Media Group) in 1984, I believe I have a good knowledge of the on-line media industry and am sure that Ansearch is well positioned to be a major player in the Australian on-line media market.
I personally have been humbled by the strong support shown to me recently by key management personnel at Ansearch and other board members and I very much look forward to continuing to work closely with them for years to come. I also hope to continue to work with the management team and will strive to ensure that Ansearch is accountable, success driven and a valuable asset for all Ansearch shareholders.
Thankyou for your time to read this letter, for your investment in Ansearch, and, I trust, for your continued support.
Best Wishes
