ApplyDirect Board appoints George Savvides as advisor to the Health & Government sectors

Melbourne, Australia, 12 September 2017 : ApplyDirect Limited (ASX: AD1) ( ApplyDirect or the Company ) is delighted to announce that George Savvides will become an advisor to the ApplyDirect board, effective 1 October 2017. Mr Savvides’ will be responsible for assisting the Company to accelerate its major growth initiatives across both health and government.

Commenting on the appointment, ApplyDirect Chairman, Michael Kay said: “I am delighted that George has agreed to join ApplyDirect as an advisor to the Board. George is a widely respected business leader and has had an outstanding business career with 20 years as a CEO in the health sector, most recently at Medibank Private, Australia’s largest health fund, and prior to that at Sigma Pharmaceuticals. Having completed business transformation assignments at both companies he successfully led both of them to IPOs on the ASX.

“As ApplyDirect continues to accelerate penetration of its targeted industry verticals and drive strong revenue growth, George’s extensive career in the public and private sectors will provide invaluable knowledge and insights that will assist the Company as it seeks to identify and execute major growth opportunities and build deeper relationships with employers across health and government.”
