Adnams plc - Statement re Press Comment

Following recent media reports speculating a potential sale of the Company, the Board of Directors of Adnams plc (the "Company") wishes to reconfirm the Company's position - originally communicated on 12th February - that it is exploring a range of options to fund its future growth plans with the support of its advisors.

The Board's intention remains the raising of additional capital from a third party and/or the sale of freehold assets to return capital to the Company.

No decision has been taken and Company will continue to keep shareholders appraised of developments at the appropriate time.
