ADLER Real Estate acquires shares in residential real estate portfolio

• Approx. 2,400 residential units in Lower Saxony

Hamburg, 30 December 2013. ADLER Real Estate AG, Frankfurt/M. (ISIN
DE0005008007) acquires shares in another portfolio of residential
properties in the course of the company's expansion strategy. The
acquisition comprises the majority interest in a housing association in
Lower Saxony which altogether holds approx. 2,400 residential units. The
portfolio fits very well in ADLER's portfolio strategy. This focuses on the
acquisition of residential properties in B-locations which generate
positive cash flow and show potential for appreciation. The properties are
located in cities and communities close to the city of Wolfsburg where the
Volkswagen Group is headquartered. Closing of the transaction is planned
for the next weeks.
