Reference is made to the announcement by Adevinta on 25 June 2021 regarding the completion of the acquisition of eBay Classifieds Group and the issue of shares in Adevinta as part of the consideration for the acquisition.

Following the transaction and issue of new shares, Baillie Gifford & Co (“BG & Co”) holds on 25 June 2021 a total of 37,876,489 voting rights in Adevinta, corresponding to 3.69% of the votes. All voting rights are held under discretionary investment management agreements with clients. Baillie Gifford & Co does not hold any shares or rights to the shares in Adevinta.

The above includes 14,788,654 (1.44%) voting rights held by Baillie Gifford Overseas Limited (“BGO”) a wholly owned subsidiary of BG & Co.
