Addnode Group wins new e-archive order to the Swedish Police with a value of at least SEK 10 M

STOCKHOLM, 15 July, 2013 – Ida Infront, a subsidiary of Addnode Group, has signed an agreement with the Swedish Police regarding a central e-archive system for all of the Police's operations. The contract runs for four years with a value of at least SEK 10 M. There is also an option of an extension for three additional years.

Ida Infront has, after several major successes within the business of e-archive, gained further confidence as an e-archive provider to government agencies. The mission of the Swedish Police includes licenses, services and a range of options in terms of additional licenses and services.

The Swedish Police is taking another step towards a fully digitized information management by establishing a central e-archive for all police operations and its 28,000 employees. 1.8 million new paper files per year are expected to be replaced by digital files. The e-archive is also a prerequisite for being able to follow the new Police Data Act which came into force in 2012.

"This is a prestigious assignment and a very interesting e-archive project for us. To the Police, the earchive will be crucial to meet the new Police Data Act, but also for a more effective and secure information management," says Stefan Jonegård, CEO of Ida Infront.

"The Swedish Police's e-archive will be one of the largest in Sweden. We are very happy and proud that we got this assignment," Stefan Jonegård continues. "We are Sweden's top provider of e-archives. We have strong reference cases and a complete offer at a competitive price."

The solutions to the Swedish Police is based on the product family iipax that, besides e-archives, also includes features for document and case management, advanced e-services and secure information transfers. The product is used by a wide range of agencies as well as private companies. iipax is a standard product that is developed and maintained by Ida Infront.
