AddLife acquires Svan Care AB

Today, AddLife signed an agreement to acquire all the shares in the company Svan Care AB The company will be incorporated into the Medtech BusinessArea.

Svan Care develops, designs and markets assistive equipment in home care. Svan Care has successfully established itself in the premium segment of bathroom products designed to facilitate everyday life for people with disabilities. Customers can primarily be found in municipal home care and county councils in Sweden and Norway. The company has 13 employees and sales of about SEK 35 million.

The acquisition represents an expansion in the area of home care, an extremely interesting and growing market segment.

Ownership will become effective on 3 October 2016. The acquisition is expected to have a marginally positive effect onAddLife's earnings per share.
