APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER – INDONESIAN COAL OPERATIONS

Adavale Resources Ltd (“Adavale or Company”) is pleased to announce that it has appointed Marshall Cooper to act as the Chief Executive Officer of Adavale’s Indonesian Coal Operations.

Mr Cooper is an Australian citizen who has been living and working in Indonesia and south east Asia for the past 22 years. Since 1997 Marshall has been employed by the Lippo Group, one of the largest corporations in the Asian region whose core businesses cover mining, property, media, healthcare, manufacturing and financial services with revenues of over US$6 billion, employing over 60,000 people across the region. For the past 4 years Mr Cooper has been Chief Executive Advisor to the Chairman of Lippo Group Mining – Indonesia. As Chief Advisor to the Chairman his role included the development of the mining business unit, and covered all aspects of the industry including acquisitions of projects, establishment of exploration programs, mergers and acquisitions, development and funding plans and positioning the mining business unit as the future leader of the Lippo Group. He has been CEO of various business units for the Lippo Group while holding various director roles in public listed companies of the the Lippo Group and will continue to maintain these current board positions and advisory roles.

The decision by Mr Cooper to accept the role as CEO, further demonstrates the value of the effort to date and the strength of the network that Adavale is developing in the region.

“I am excited about the prospect of joining Adavale to build a major coal mining business and look forward to working with the current board to grow shareholder value” said Mr Cooper.

Mr Cooper will commence his role on the 11[th] July 2011, joining the team in Indonesia at a time when the exploration program is set to be very active and will provide valuable support to technical staff. As part of his remuneration, Mr Cooper or his nominee will be issued 5 million shares in the Company as a sign on fee. He or his nominee will also be granted;

  • 10,000,000 options exercisable at a price of 10 cents each on or before 1st March 2014 if the volume weighted average price of Adavale Shares remains above 20 cents for 30 consecutive days;

  • 10,000,000 options exercisable at a price of 10 cents each on or before 1st March 2014 if the volume weighted average price of Adavale Shares remains above 40 cents for 30 consecutive days; and

  • 10,000,000 options exercisable at a price of 10 cents each on or before 1st March 2015 if the volume weighted average price of Adavale Shares remains above 60 cents for 30 consecutive days (subject to any required approvals).

Stephen Macmillan – Adavale’s senior geologist with over 39 years experience in exploration and mining will work closely with Marshall on the company’s exploration and development projects. Steve is a member of AUSIMM and has spent the last 16 years in Indonesia. He is experienced in all aspects of coal geology, exploration, management, data analysis and geological modeling and is an expert in coal production, quality control, scheduling and specialized coal mining techniques. Steve worked for Kaltim Prima Coal in East Kalimantan for 8 years and was responsible for the geology team and for lifting recoverable reserves from 104Mt to over 1,240Mt, and followed with two years at Bukit Biaduri Energi to lift recoverable reserves from

700kt to over 27Mt. When Steve was at Bayan Resources in East Kalimantan he determined and delineated the Wahana open cut mine of approximately 230Mt.

Adavale continues to expand its resource base and the addition of Marshall Cooper and Steve Macmillan forms a strong foundation for growth.
