LMW (ASX: LMW) IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THE APPOINTMENT OF TWO NEW NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS TO THE BOARD
Further to our recent announcements, the Board of LMW is pleased to announce that Mr Stephen Maitland OAM and Mr Keith Perrett have accepted positions as non-executive directors of LMW and will take up their positions effective 1 February 2018.
Mr Maitland and Mr Perrett bring with them a wealth of experience from across the public and private sectors. Their combined skills and insights including financial services, risk management, governance, and strategic development will be invaluable to the board.
Mr Maitland OAM has over 45 years’ experience in the banking and finance industries and is currently a director of the Royal Automobile Club of Queensland Limited, QInsure Ltd and several private companies. He is an independent member of several audit and compliance committees and past President of the Queensland Division of CPA Australia. Mr Maitland has until recently, been a non-executive director of the Australian Unity Property Fund and is the principal of Delphin Associates, a business consultancy specialising in strategic planning, risk management, corporate governance and business transition.
Mr Perrett brings to the board strong experience in strategy development, government relations, stakeholder engagement and business development. He also has a strong business and government network, particularly within NSW & QLD. He is currently Non-Executive Chairman of Silver Mines Ltd (ASX:SVL)
Mr Perrett previously held positions as the Chairman of the Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC), the National Rural Advisory Council (NRAC), the Wheat Research Foundation (WRF), and President of the Grains Council of Australia.
