On October 2, 2019 , Acuity Brands, Inc. (“we,” “our,” “us,” the “Company,” or other similar references) issued a press release containing information about our results of operations for our fiscal quarter and year ended August 31, 2019 . A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K, which is incorporated herein by reference. On September 27, 2019, the Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend of $0.13 per share. Additionally, we announced that we will hold our annual meeting of stockholders on January 8, 2020 .
