Construction and Air Permit Update

Permit event to take place on 22 June 2020

Active Energy, the international biomass based renewable energy business, announces that the online event for public comments on the construction and air permit (the "Permit") for the Company's CoalSwitch™ plant in Lumberton, NC has been postponed to the 22 June 2020, with the public comment period closing on the 26 June 2020.

The Division of Air Quality in North Carolina informed AEG that the change in dates is required to comply with the minimum notice period regulation and is the result of an administrative error that occurred when the State sought to publish the public information in the local newspaper.

This announcement contains inside information for the purposes of Article 7 of Regulation (EU) 596/2014.
