ACRUX ANNOUNCES FURTHER BOARD CHANGE

Acrux (ASX: ACR) today announced that Bruce Parncutt has joined the board as a non-executive director, replacing Ken Windle who has stepped down after more than ten years’ service on the board.

Bruce Parncutt’s career spans almost 40 years in investment management, investment banking and stockbroking including seven years as Chief Executive of listed securities firm McIntosh Securities and three years as Senior Vice President of Merrill Lynch. His experience includes extensive involvement in financial analysis, merger and acquisition transactions, capital-raisings, and investment in companies across a broad spectrum from early stage to mature public companies. Bruce has been a director of a number of listed and unlisted companies, including the Australian Stock Exchange from 1994 to 1999.

Acrux Chairman Ross Dobinson commented “We are very pleased to announce the appointment of Bruce Parncutt to the Acrux Board, following Ken Windle’s decision to stand down. Bruce is a highly respected business figure with strong commercial skills that will be relevant to Acrux's commercial development, and which will complement the specialised industry skills of Ross Barrow, who joined the Acrux Board recently. Both appointments reflect the change in status of Acrux as the company transitions from its drug development stage to a mature pharmaceutical company.
