ACROW WINS $5m FORMWORK PACKAGE ON THE MELBOURNE NORTH EAST LINK PROJECT

Acrow Limited (ASX: ACF) (“Acrow” or “the Company”) is today pleased to announce that it has signed the following contract with Spark NEL DC JV on the Melbourne North East Link Project.

Key Highlights

  • Supply of proprietary gantry systems on the North East Link Project

  • Contract Value $ 4.965m for the sale of equipment and engineering services

  • Largest single equipment supply contract in Company History

Acrow has signed a contract with the Spark NEL DC JV, the primary contractor on the Melbourne North East Link Project for the supply of a range of proprietary gantry systems to form the tunnel corbels for the smoke duct slab. In total Acrow will supply four different types of motorised traveling units that are highly engineered and will provide the client a quick, safe and effective solution for the project. The equipment is expected to be supplied early in FY 25.

Commenting on the announcement, Steven Boland, CEO of Acrow, said “We are very pleased to be awarded this contract with Spark particularly since this is such a marquee project in the Australian infrastructure pipeline”.

“When completed the project will provide three-lane twin tunnels that will finally close the missing link in Melbourne’s freeway network. Up to 135,000 vehicles will use North East Link every day, reducing congestion in the north-east while maintaining local roads for local trips”.

“Our teams success in securing this package on the next major civil infrastructure project in Victoria, is strategically very important for Acrow, as we eventually transition off the CYP Metro Rail and Westgate Tunnel projects on which we have really established our credentials as a premium supplier in the major project space in the state”.

“I congratulate the team on this fantastic achievement and look forward to continued growth and success in our Melbourne Formwork division”.

This release was approved by the Acrow Board of Directors.
