Goldschmeding appointed new CFO Amsterdam Commodities

As of 1 December 2015, Mr. Allard Goldschmeding (50, photo) will join Amsterdam Commodities N.V., the Euronext Amsterdam listed trading house in spices and nuts, food ingredients, tea and edible seeds, as CFO. Goldschmeding comes from Vion Food Group and succeeds former CFO Mr. Jan ten Kate, who left in August 2015. Previously Allard held CFO positions at H.J. Heinz, Sara Lee Corporation and he worked as principal consultant at Archstone Consulting.

Acomo CEO Erik Rietkerk says: "We have taken our time to find a good CFO that could succeed Jan ten Kate. Our new CFO should have experience in - and affinity with - the food business, fit in the financial role of our holding and have the knowledge and personality to motivate and facilitate our subsidiairies.
