Aberdeen Emerging Markets Investment Company Limited (the "Company") announces that its name has changed, with effect from 26 October 2021, to abrdn China Investment Company Limited. The change of name was approved by the Company's shareholders at the General Meeting on 26 October 2021, and on 27 October 2021 the Company received the certificate of change of name from the Guernsey Registry office to effect the change.

In line with the change in name, the Company's ticker will change to ACIC with effect from 28 October 2021. The Company's SEDOL and ISIN are unchanged.
