TRADING HALT
The securities of Australian Bauxite Limited (the “Company”) will be placed in pre-open at the request of the Company, pending the release of an announcement by the Company. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in pre-open until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Monday, 23 August 2010 or when the announcement is released to the market.

Request for a Trading Halt
Pursuant to ASX Listing Rule 17.1 Australian Bauxite Limited (Company) requests a trading halt in the Company’s securities pending an announcement to the market regarding a proposed capital raising that is material to the Company.
The Company anticipates that the trading halt will be lifted on or before 23 August 2010 by provision of an announcement to the ASX with respect to the capital raising.
The Company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted.
