Appointment of Non-executive Director

The Board of Patria Private Equity Trust plc ("the Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Duncan Budge as an additional independent Non-executive Director with effect from 1 February 2025.

Diane Seymour-Williams, the Chair of the Nomination Committee, said "The Board regularly considers succession planning and is delighted that Duncan has agreed to join our Board.  Duncan brings a wealth of experience having worked with investment companies during his executive and non-executive career and the Board looks forward to working with him."

Duncan retired from his role as an Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of RIT Capital Partners plc in 2011, having been appointed in 1995.  He is a Non-executive Director of Lowland Investment Company plc, Biopharma Credit plc and Asset Value Investors Ltd.  He was until recently Chair of Artemis Alpha Trust plc and Dunedin Enterprise Investment Trust plc.   

There are no other disclosures required under Section 9.6.13 (1) to (6) of the Listing Rules in respect of Duncan's appointments.
