First Interim Dividend for the year to 30 September 2023

In relation to the year to 30 September 2023, the Board of Aberdeen Diversified Income and Growth Trust plc (the "Company") currently intends to declare four quarterly dividends of 1.42 pence per share or 5.68p per share in total, which will be the equivalent of an increase of 1.4% on the 5.60p per share paid for the year ended 30 September 2022.

Accordingly, the Board announces that it is declaring a first interim dividend in respect of the year to 30 September 2023 of 1.42 pence per share on the Ordinary shares of the Company in relation to the quarter ended 31 December 2022.

The first interim dividend will be paid on 3 April 2023 to shareholders on the register on 10 March 2023. The ex-dividend date is 9 March 2023.

The last date for receipt of mandate instructions for those shareholders who wish to join the Dividend Reinvestment Plan is 17 March 2023.

In line with best practice in corporate governance, the Board puts forward the Company's dividend policy for shareholder approval at each Annual General Meeting.
