ABO Wind stays on course despite the pandemic

With a net profit of 6.3 million euros in the first half of 2020, the ABO Wind group exceeded the result of the same period of the previous year (5.5 million euros). ABO Wind also increased its revenues (59.3 million euros compared to 56.6 million euros) and total performance (70.9 million euros compared to 59.3 million euros), which in addition to revenues includes changes in inventories of products and services.
“Although the restrictions associated with the pandemic impede and delay initiating and developing wind and solar projects, we are on track for the 2020 financial year,” says Chairman of the Managing Board Andreas Höllinger. For the full year, he expects a net profit of around twelve million euros, which would make it the fifth consecutive year with a net profit of more than ten million euros. In the 2019 financial year, the result was around 11.4 million euros. “We are pleased with the continuity of our business development, despite the restrictions and delays associated with the pandemic,” says Höllinger.
