CLARIFICATION

This announcement is to clarify the Chinese version of the Results Announcement Summary dated 10th October 2001.

Reference is made to the Chinese version of the Results Announcement Summary of abc Multiactive Limited (the “Company”) dated 10th October 2001 (the “Summary”). In the remarks section of the Summary, the dates and periods were inadvertently stated for the six months ended 31st May 2001. The directors of the Company would like to clarify that the dates and periods should be for the nine months ended 31st August 2001 as disclosed in the English version of the Summary. Shareholders of abc Multiactive Limited are advised to refer to the Company’s revised Summary published on 11th October 2001.
