Abacus acquires Bacchus Marsh Village Shopping Centre
Abacus Property Group is pleased to announce the acquisition of Bacchus Marsh Village Shopping Centre for $31.6 million.
The property is a sub-regional shopping centre located approximately 50km west of the Melbourne CBD. The total site area is 4.4 hectares of which 0.84 hectares is vacant land with development potential.
The shopping centre has a total gross lettable area of 15,147 sq m and is anchored by a Coles supermarket. The other major retail tenants include Aldi, Target Country and Reject Shop.
Dr Frank Wolf, Managing Director of Abacus Property Group said: “We saw great opportunity with this centre to increase the net income over the medium term via a renewed leasing and re-positioning strategy.”
