Appointment of non-executive director

Abacus Property Group is pleased to announce the appointment today of Peter
Spira as a non-executive director.

Peter had significant experience in the Australian real estate sector with
the Meriton Group, Australia’s largest residential apartment developer. Peter
was responsible for Meriton Group’s development projects.  He also led the
Meriton team in researching and developing new construction and remediation
systems.  Peter was a director of Meriton Group from 2005 until he retired in
2015.

Peter holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of New
South Wales, Sydney.

In 2006 Peter received the Order of Australia (AM) for services to the
development industry.

Peter currently serves as a director of Retire Australia.

Abacus Property Group Chairman, Mr John Thame, said “We welcome Peter to the
Board where his strong real estate and residential development background
will complement the experience of the existing board members.”

Peter will stand for re-election to the Board at the next Annual General
Meeting later this year. Peter’s appointment brings the number of directors
to six, further enhancing the Board’s independence.
