APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF INNOVATION OFFICER

The board of directors (the “Board”) of AAC Technologies Holdings Inc. (the “Company”) has the pleasure to announce that with effect from 24 August 2019, Mr. Pan Kaitai (“Mr. Pan”) will be appointed as the chief innovation officer (“CINO”) of the Company.

Mr. Pan joined the Company in March 2014 and since then his responsibilities have expanded from IT to Research and Development (“R&D”), and global technology collaborations. Currently, Mr. Pan is in-charge of the Company’s IT and the Advanced Technologies Design Group, and involved in related aspects of R&D.

In his current role, Mr. Pan already demonstrated a deep understanding of how to adopt new technologies in our organization. It is expected that in his new role, Mr. Pan will drive innovation and focus on developing change competency, getting buy-in, and allocating resources across departments. In addition, together with the other senior management, the new role will empower Mr. Pan to contribute to the development of the long-term lifecycle of new technology investments and devise the roadmap for the Company’s future growth strategies.

Mr. Pan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science awarded by Boston University. He is the son of Mr. Pan Benjamin Zhengmin, the chief executive officer of the Company and Ms. Wu Ingrid Chun Yuan, a non-executive director of the Company. Collectively, the Pan Family, comprising Mr. Pan Benjamin Zhengmin, Ms. Wu Ingrid Chun Yuan, Mr. Pan and family hold 41.11% interests in the shares of the Company as at 31 December 2018.

The Board would like to take this opportunity to welcome Mr. Pan to take up this new position.
