Appointment of Non-Executive Director

and

Confirmation of Finance Director Joining Date

Braemar Shipping Services plc (LSE: BMS), a leading international provider of broking, financial, consultancy, technical and logistics services to the shipping, marine, energy, offshore and insurance industries, is pleased to announce that Steve Kunzer has been appointed as a non-executive director with effect from 26 February 2019. Steve will also join the Company's Audit, Nomination and Remuneration Committees.

Steve has extensive experience of shipbroking and global shipping markets, with a career of over thirty years working in London and the Far East.  Most recently, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of Eastern Pacific Shipping Pte Ltd, prior to which he was managing director of Tanker Pacific Management (Singapore) Pte Ltd.  He began his career with P&O and has also held a number of management positions over seven years working for Zodiac Maritime Agencies Ltd.

Further to its announcement on 13 December 2018, the Company is pleased to confirm that Nick Stone is due to be appointed to the Board and commence his role as Finance Director from 1 April 2019.

The Company is also continuing its process to appoint a new Non-Executive Chairman and a further announcement will be made in due course.

Listing Rule 9.6.13 disclosures

Braemar confirms that there are no disclosures to be made in respect of Steve for the purposes of Listing Rule 9.6.13.
