These innovations are the result of an ongoing policy under which 6% of revenue, totaling €500 million, was invested in R&D in 2017, supported by 3,500 engineers, 23 R&D centers and a 4,000-strong patent portfolio. This level of R&D investment will continue in coming years.
Plastic Omnium's R&D policy confirms its intention to play a full part in developing the cleaner, safer, and smarter car of the future.
