Drax Group plc (the Company) announces today it has purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 11 16/29 pence each through J.P. Morgan Securities plc.

The Company intends to hold the purchased shares in treasury.

Since 20 April 2018, the Company has purchased 13,797,377 shares at a cost (including dealing and associated costs) of £50,071,588.24.

Following the above transaction, the Company holds 13,797,377, of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 393,395,791 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
