PRESS RELEASE

Thorigné-Fouillard, September 4, 2019, 5:45 p.m. - Kerlink (ALKLK - FR0013156007), a specialist and global leader in solutions dedicated to the Internet of Things (IoT), announced today the implementation of an Employment Protection Plan (French "Plan de Sauvegarde de l'Emploi - PSE") in accordance with Article L. 1233-61 of the French Labor Code.

As mentioned in the successive communications shared since June 12, 2018, the IoT market targeted by the company has been affected by delays in the pace of deployment of major infrastructure projects by incumbent telecom operators, slowing down the Group's business and performance. This persistent situation therefore required a reorganization and a resizing of the company in order to restore the adequate conditions for a sustainable development. In parallel with this necessary transformation, Kerlink already undertook, over the last months, an offensive action plan to adapt to the change of its market, especially by strengthening its offers and focus towards private operators ( enterprises, cities, administrations…).

In this context, the Employment Protection Plan will guarantee support for employees affected by these measures in their internal or external reclassification, for those who will have to leave the company. This plan was duly submitted for approval to the employee representatives who issued a favorable opinion, and formally approved by the DIRECCTE (French labor body) on August 27, 2019.

Of the 103 employees of Kerlink France on July 31, 2019, 24 employees are concerned by the plan, including 2 internal reclassifications. The people whose positions are to be cancelled will receive appropriate support in finding a retraining solution that will be set up and proposed through a reclassification unit.

The effective implementation of all accompanying measures (job security contract, assistance for geographical mobility, incentives for vocational training, assistance in setting up or taking over a business, etc.) will be monitored on a regular basis by a steering committee composed of employee and management representatives and the relevant expert bodies.

All departures related to the implementation of the plan should take place before the end of the year.
