UniCredit: 2025 EU-wide Transparency Exercise
UniCredit notes the announcements made today by the European Banking Authority (EBA) and the European Central Bank (ECB) regarding the information of the 2025 EU-wide Transparency Exercise and fulfilment of the EBA Board of Supervisors' decision.
Background 2025 EU-wide Transparency Exercise
The EBA Board of Supervisors approved the package for the 2025 EU-wide Transparency Exercise, which since 2016 is performed on an annual basis and published along with the Risk Assessment Report (RAR). The annual transparency exercise will be based solely on COREP/FINREP data on the form and scope to assure a sufficient and appropriate level of information to market participants.
The templates were centrally filled in by the EBA and sent afterwards for verification by banks and supervisors. Banks had the chance to correct any errors detected and to resubmit correct data through the regular supervisory reporting channels, and to add specific information as required for further clarify individual data.
The 2025 Transparency exercise covers four reference dates: 30th September and 31st December 2024, 31st March and 30th June 2025.

UniCredit: Esercizio di trasparenza nell'UE del 2025
UniCredit prende atto degli annunci resi oggi dall'Autorità Bancaria Europea (EBA) e dalla Banca Centrale Europea (BCE) in riferimento alle informazioni dell'esercizio di Trasparenza nell'UE del 2025, sulla base di quanto deciso dal Consiglio di Vigilanza dell'EBA.
Contesto dell'Esercizio di trasparenza nell'UE del 2025
Il Consiglio di vigilanza dell'EBA ha approvato l'esercizio di trasparenza del 2025, che dal 2016 viene effettuato con frequenza annuale e pubblicato contemporaneamente al Risk Assessment Report (RAR). L'esercizio annuale di trasparenza sarà basato esclusivamente sui dati COREP / FINREP al fine di garantire un sufficiente e adeguato livello di informazione agli attori di mercato.
I template sono stati compilati centralmente dall'EBA e successivamente inviati per una verifica alle banche e alle autorità di vigilanza. Le banche hanno avuto la possibilità di correggere eventuali errori identificati e sottoporre quindi i dati corretti tramite i consueti canali per le segnalazioni, e aggiungere informazioni specifiche come richiesto per chiarire ulteriormente i dati.
L'esercizio del 2025 utilizza le date di riferimento del 30 settembre e 31 Dicembre 2024, del 30 Marzo e 30 giugno 2025.
